Why we use it

We use your information to open and operate your account, to execute and settle your transactions, to meet our know-your-customer, anti-money-laundering and record-keeping obligations, to communicate with you about your account, and to improve our services. We will only send you marketing communications where you have agreed to receive them, and you can withdraw that agreement at any time.

Who we share it with

We share information where necessary with the Ethiopian Securities Exchange and the Central Securities Depository to execute and settle your trades, with our settlement bank, with the Ethiopian Capital Market Authority and other authorities where we are required to do so by law, and with professional advisers and service providers bound by confidentiality obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We retain client records for the period required by applicable law and regulation, and no longer than necessary for the purposes described here.

Security

We maintain technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure and loss. Identification documents submitted through this website are stored in restricted storage accessible only to authorised personnel and are never published to a public address.

Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, and object to the use of your information for marketing. Some information cannot be deleted on request because we are required by law to retain it.
