Responsibilities
- Execute client buy and sell orders in line with the firm's best execution policy
- Quote two-way prices in securities where the firm makes a market, within approved position limits
- Discuss timing and sizing with clients before working larger orders
- Maintain accurate order records and ensure contract notes are issued promptly
- Escalate any suspected market abuse or conflict of interest to Compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or a related field
- Experience in securities dealing, treasury or banking markets
- Working knowledge of Ethiopian capital market regulation and ECMA requirements
- Meets ECMA fitness and propriety standards for a licensed representative
- Strong numeracy and the judgement to work an order rather than simply place it
